It often occurs that while growing, plants are quite frail and require support from an adjacent object in order to develop properly and not bend or break, especially when holding the weight of their fruits. A number of structures were designed for this very common situation and also for protecting plants from the forceful impact of the natural elements.
For instance, if you are growing flowers which are likely to need support as they mature, some common examples being dahlias, lilies and chrysanthemums, you can secure them by using a rust-proof support ring positioned on a cane, which can conveniently be moved in concordance with the plants’ needs. The same requirements are met by a similar product, namely the plant support frame, which can be adapted to the plants’ height as well as it comes with removable legs, to be installed when necessary. These frames are very sturdy as they are made of steel, and among other purposes they protect your plants against the damage that violent natural phenomena such as stormy weather might cause them. Moreover, they come in a shade of green which makes them very discreet and barely noticeable. This is the feature shared by another similar product, the plant support cradle, with the distinction that plant support cradles are normally made of lighter materials.
Making sure that your plants are in an upright position is not merely about aesthetics and good organisational skills, but it affects their health as well, enabling each plant to grow free of surrounding ones (as opposed to being under them) and get enough sunlight for its vital processes.
